MEKRA Lang North America (MLNA) has made it its policy to become and remain involved with both local communities as well as national charities. In this way, the company philosophy of reinvestment applies not only to technology, but also to the people we employ and the markets we serve.
MLNA employees have responded to local and national needs by contributing to local foster children at Christmastime, donating blood to the American Red Cross and raising company-matched funds for causes ranging from hurricane relief to local food pantries. An annual contribution calendar allows employees to donate necessary items to women's shelters and children's homes throughout the year.
On a corporate level, MLNA supports causes as diverse as the United Way, Juvenile Diabetes and the March of Dimes.
Giving to the community doesn't only mean contributions. It also means participation. Twice a year, MLNA sponsors teams for the March of Dimes and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Individual employees are always sponsored toward charities that have been special parts of their lives.
Through community involvement, MLNA empowers others, for themselves, their families and their communities.
